Deze box bundelt Bruce Springsteens werk uit de periode 1987 tot 1996: Tunnel of Love, Human Touch, Lucky Town, In Concert/MTV Plugged en The Ghost of Tom Joad, aangevuld met de 12-inch ep's Chimes of Freedom en Blood Brothers. Het is het decennium waarin hij de E Street Band losliet, in Los Angeles ging werken met sessiemuzikanten en daarna terugkeerde naar akoestische verhalen over migranten en gestrande levens. Alles is geremasterd door Bob Ludwig vanaf de oorspronkelijke analoge masters, en Blood Brothers verscheen hier voor het eerst op vinyl. Bij de box hoort een boek van zestig pagina's met foto's, memorabilia en persknipsels uit die jaren.
