Aglio e Olio is a return to the hardcore punk the Beastie Boys started out with in 1981: eight songs in just over eleven minutes, played on three voices, guitar, bass and drums, with not a sample in sight. The EP originally appeared in 1995 on their own Grand Royal label, between Ill Communication and the instrumental compilation The In Sound from Way Out!. Tracks such as 'Brand New', 'Nervous Assistant' and 'You Catch a Bad One' rarely run longer than ninety seconds. This edition is an LP on clear vinyl, released for Record Store Day, with two bonus tracks.
