Moon Safari Live & Demos is a companion to Moon Safari, the influential 1998 debut album by the French electronic duo Air. Moon Safari was regarded as a key work of the so-called French touch and downtempo, with tracks such as "Sexy Boy", "Kelly Watch the Stars" and "La Femme d'Argent". This release brings together live performances and demo versions of that material. The recordings show another side of the dreamy, analogue synthesizer sounds of Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel. In this way the record offers an additional perspective on a classic album.
