Dijkers & Strijkers, originally from 2014, is the live album De Dijk made with the string orchestra Amsterdam Sinfonietta, growing out of their new year tour Breder dan Klassiek. The band's own repertoire is rearranged for strings, from Zevende hemel and Bloedend hart to Zwerver and Groot hart, with classical works in between: a fragment from the oboe concerto BWV 1053 by Bach and the Élégie from the Serenade for Strings, Op. 48 by Tchaikovsky. Mathilde is a translated Jacques Brel cover. The album reached number one on the Dutch Album Top 100. This edition is a 2-LP.
