With 'Fade Into You' as its opening track, So Tonight That I Might See became the album that brought Mazzy Star to a wide audience. The second studio album by Hope Sandoval and David Roback was originally released in 1993 on Capitol Records, with Roback producing. It has been described as dream pop with a gothic core, drawing on country, folk, psychedelia and blues. 'Fade Into You' became the band's only single to enter the Billboard Hot 100 and grew into their best-known song; the album also includes a cover of Arthur Lee's 'Five String Serenade'. AllMusic wrote that the album 'remains the group's undisputed high point'.

This edition is an LP on purple vinyl.
