Strange Muse is NMIXX's sixth mini album, set in 'MIXXTOPIA', a world where people inspire each other with their own colours and become one another's muse. Title track Birthday Wish blends moombahton, Afro and future house, with a calm break of just piano and voice halfway through. For the first time since their debut the members made unit tracks: Lily and Haewon sing the ballad pop of Sing to the Moon, Sullyoon and Bae ride a dembow rhythm on Hot 'n Unbothered, and Jiwoo and Kyujin rap on WHIP. Kyujin also earned her first composing credit there. Kerosene and RudE TaLK complete the six-track album.

This edition is an LP on clear vinyl, with a lyric sleeve and photocards.
