For Suicide Season, Bring Me The Horizon travelled to Sweden, where Fredrik Nordström produced the sessions, and that shifted the course: less deathcore, more metalcore with room for melody and electronics. The second album, originally from 2008 on Visible Noise, delivered Chelsea Smile, Diamonds Aren't Forever and The Sadness Will Never End, the songs that took the band beyond the hardcore scene. Sam Carter of Architects sings on that last one. The lyrics deal with decay, fame and self-loathing, delivered in short lines built for shouting along. This edition is an LP.
