The title of This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours comes from a speech by Aneurin Bevan, the Welsh Labour politician behind the founding of Britain's NHS. Manic Street Preachers' fifth studio album was originally released in 1998 through Epic and sold 136,000 copies in its first week, taking it to number one on the UK albums chart. Nicky Wire wrote the lyrics, while Mike Hedges and Dave Eringa handled production. If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next, about Welsh volunteers in the Spanish Civil War, became the band's first UK number one single. You Stole the Sun from My Heart and The Everlasting are also on the album, where strings, mellotron, Wurlitzer and acoustic guitars surround James Dean Bradfield's voice.

This edition is a 2-LP.
