Definitely Maybe was the debut album by Oasis and originally appeared in August 1994 on Creation Records. It entered the UK chart at number 1 and was, at the time, the fastest-selling debut album in British history. Live Forever, Supersonic, Shakermaker, and Cigarettes & Alcohol run on a simple recipe: Liam Gallagher's nasal voice on top of layered guitar tracks, with lyrics about getting out of Manchester and making it big. The road there was rough, as the first recording sessions were scrapped and it took Owen Morris's mix to give the album the density the band could not capture in the studio. This edition is a 2-LP.
