The Link was the second studio album by the French metal band Gojira, released in 2003. The record built on the technical, rhythmically complex death metal of their debut and placed greater emphasis on groove and dynamics. Recurring themes were nature, spirituality and the bond between humankind and the earth. Songs such as 'The Link', 'Remembrance' and 'Indians' showcased the distinctive guitar work of brothers Joe and Mario Duplantier.
