This EP collects early recordings around 'Live Wire', the first single by the American glam and hard rock band Mötley Crüe. Alongside 'Live Wire', the release includes 'Take Me to the Top' and 'Merry-Go-Round', all three taken from their debut album Too Fast for Love. 'Live Wire' is regarded as one of the songs that defined the early days of the Sunset Strip scene in Los Angeles and remained a fixture of their live shows for decades. In this classic line-up the band consisted of singer Vince Neil, bassist and songwriter Nikki Sixx, drummer Tommy Lee and guitarist Mick Mars. The recordings show Mötley Crüe in their raw early days, before their worldwide breakthrough.
