World Alone is the first single from From The Dark, the third solo album by Tony Iommi and his first in twenty-one years. The track came out on 4 September 2026 via BMG, just over a year after Black Sabbath's farewell show. Norwegian singer Jørn Lande handles the vocals and co-wrote every song on the album, with Becky Baldwin on bass and Karl Brazil on drums. Iommi co-produced with Mike Exeter, a collaborator of many years. The B-side carries an instrumental version found only on this release, in a foiled sleeve.
