Respect is a studio album by the German heavy metal band Sinner, originally released in 1993. The group was founded in 1982 by singer and bassist Mat Sinner and was a fixture of the German metal scene through the 1980s and 1990s. On Respect the band continues its melodic hard rock and heavy metal, with sturdy guitar riffs and singalong choruses. Tracks such as the title song Respect, Fire In The Dark and Don't Let This Dream Die Young display the blend of power and melody that typifies the band's sound. Mat Sinner would later also become known for his work with Primal Fear.
