Gold: Greatest Hits was a compilation album by ABBA, originally released in 1992, more than ten years after the band had split up. The collection featured 19 of the group's biggest hits, including Dancing Queen, Waterloo, Mamma Mia, Take a Chance on Me, The Winner Takes It All and Money, Money, Money. The album appeared after ABBA's catalogue moved to record label PolyGram and sparked a worldwide revival of the band's popularity. Gold has sold tens of millions of copies worldwide and ranks among the best-selling albums of all time. The songs dated from the period 1974-1982 and were written by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus.
