The title 19 refers to Adele's age when she wrote and recorded her debut album. Released in 2008 on XL Recordings, the album largely deals with first love and the end of a relationship, sung in a blend of soul, pop and folk over spare arrangements. It features 'Chasing Pavements', 'Hometown Glory' — written when she was sixteen — and her version of Bob Dylan's 'Make You Feel My Love'. It earned her the Grammy for Best New Artist, plus Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for 'Chasing Pavements'. This edition is an LP on black vinyl.
