For years she was Caro Emerald, the voice behind the electro swing of "A Night Like This". On Returning to Innocence Caro releases her music under her own first name and moves towards alt-pop, drawing on eighties pop, nineties ballads and classic R&B. The album has fourteen tracks and is a personal exploration of womanhood: how it is lived and how it is imagined from the outside. Singles released ahead of it include "I Can't Win", "Greatness", "Call The Shots" and "The Guy Bangs". Big Mouse released the album on 9 October 2026.

This edition is an LP.
