Kiss Me Once, originally released in 2014, took shape under the wing of Sia, who helped select the songs as executive producer. On her twelfth studio album Kylie Minogue works with Pharrell Williams, among others, who produced 'I Was Gonna Cancel', and released 'Into the Blue' as the lead single. On vinyl, the album had so far only been available as a limited 2-LP edition.

This edition is the album's first regular 1-LP version: an LP on black vinyl.
