Rammstein
Rammstein came together in Berlin in 1994 and has played in the same line-up ever since: Till Lindemann, Richard Z. Kruspe, Paul Landers, Oliver Riedel, Christoph Schneider, and Christian "Flake" Lorenz. The band shaped what became known as Neue Deutsche Härte: pounding half-time guitars, synthesizers laying melody between the riffs, and German lyrics that Lindemann delivers with a rolled r. After the 1995 debut Herzeleid, Sehnsucht broke through internationally with Du hast and Engel, followed by Mutter, Reise, Reise, Rosenrot, and Liebe ist für alle da. The untitled 2019 album went to number 1 in fourteen countries, and Zeit appeared in 2022. On stage the pyrotechnics are as much part of the band as the riffs.
This collection brings together Rammstein on vinyl, LP and CD: the studio albums from Herzeleid to Zeit, anniversary editions, and individual singles.
