Metrobolist is the original title of the album the world came to know as The Man Who Sold the World, originally released in 1970. Together with guitarist Mick Ronson, producer and bassist Tony Visconti and drummer Woody Woodmansey, Bowie made his first heavy, hard-rock-leaning record here, with songs such as the title track, 'All the Madmen', 'The Width of a Circle' and 'The Supermen'. For this 2020 anniversary edition the intended title Metrobolist was restored and the album was remixed by original producer Tony Visconti (with the exception of 'After All').
