Five years after The Bitter Truth, Evanescence returned with Sanctuary, the sixth studio album by the band around singer Amy Lee, released on 5 June 2026 via BMG. It is the first album to feature bassist Emma Anzai, with production handled by Jordan Fish, Nick Raskulinecz and Zakk Cervini, among others. Afterlife, written for the Netflix series Devil May Cry, and Who Will You Follow preceded the album as singles. The twelve songs place heavy, modern guitars next to Lee's piano and voice, from opener Beautiful Lie to closer Wide Open Heart.

This edition is the deluxe CD, with a Blu-ray featuring the concert film Live from São Paulo and a documentary on the 2023 Latin American tour.
