Getting Killed is the fourth studio album by Geese, recorded in January 2025 at Putnam Hill Studio in Los Angeles with producer Kenneth Blume. The Brooklyn band runs drum machines under crooked guitars, sets choirs against shouted punk passages and flips from free chaos into a stomping hook within a single song. Singer Cameron Winter, who had just made the solo album Heavy Metal, keeps the lyrics close to the skin, with absurdist humour next to genuine distress. Taxes, Cobra and Trinidad appeared ahead of it as singles.
