With We Were Only Young, Kodaline said goodbye: it is the Irish band's fifth and final studio album. Singer Steve Garrigan wrote the twelve songs over four years, a period in which he got married, dealt with loss and saw the end of the band approaching. The title track came first as a single, followed by "Without You", an acoustic love song Garrigan wrote for his wife that served as his speech and their first dance at their wedding. Friendship, growing older, love and closure run through the album. Concord released it in October 2026, alongside a farewell tour through Ireland, Asia, Australia, Europe and the UK.

This edition is an LP.
