Mirror Ball was originally released in 1995 and came together after Neil Young and the members of Pearl Jam found common ground at a benefit concert. The band recorded the album in just a few days at Bad Animals studio in Seattle, serving as Young's full backing band. The result is raw, electric rock built on long, jamming tracks such as 'I'm the Ocean' and 'Peace and Love'. Because of contractual restrictions between the record companies, only Young's name appears on the sleeve, though the band members are credited individually in the booklet. In Rolling Stone, reviewer J.D. Considine gave the album four out of five stars. This release is a 2-LP on black vinyl.
