Raw Power: Live at the Spectrum is a live recording of The Power Station, the supergroup formed in 1985 around members of Duran Duran — guitarist Andy Taylor and bassist John Taylor — together with drummer Tony Thompson of Chic and singer Robert Palmer. The band's studio album combined funk, rock and new wave into a tight, rhythmic sound with hits such as "Some Like It Hot" and a cover of T. Rex's "Get It On". This recording captures the group in live form during their 1985 tour. The material shows the danceable, guitar-driven side of the project.
