This live single by Wolf Alice featured the songs Midnight Song and Play It Out. Both were recorded exclusively for Spotify's Live Room series, at the Spotify studios in Los Angeles. A string quartet accompanied Ellie Rowsell's vocals. The songs came from The Clearing, the band's fourth studio album from 2025, which reached number one in the UK and was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize.
