Live at the Matrix 1967 collects the club recordings The Doors made in March 1967 at The Matrix in San Francisco, in the weeks after their debut album appeared. It features long, loose versions of 'Light My Fire', 'The End' and a run of blues covers, catching the band in an intimate setting just before their national breakthrough. The line-up is Jim Morrison, Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger and John Densmore.
