Dancing Queen was released in the summer of 1976 ahead of the album Arrival and became ABBA's biggest hit, topping the charts in the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands, among others. For its fiftieth anniversary the single was remastered at Abbey Road and reissued as a 10-inch, with La Reina del Baile, the Spanish-language version, on the B-side.
