Rome Wasn't Built in a Day is the fifth studio album by American hard rock band Babylon A.D., formed in the San Francisco Bay Area and active since 1987. The album was released on May 17, 2024 through Perris Records and features eleven tracks, including the title track and Wrecking Machine. The lineup consisted of vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist Derek Davis, guitarists Ron Freschi and John Matthews, bassist Craig Pepe and drummer Dylan Soto. The album was mastered by David Donnelly at DNA Mastering, known for his work with artists such as Mötley Crüe and Aerosmith. Rome Wasn't Built in a Day marked the band's return to the studio after years of focusing mainly on live performances.
