Live At The Grande Ballroom captures a concert that Big Brother & The Holding Company, with singer Janis Joplin, gave on 2 March 1968 at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit. During this period the San Francisco psychedelic band was breaking through nationally, in large part thanks to Joplin's explosive, blues-heavy voice.
