Hellfire is the third studio album by black midi, originally released in 2022 on Rough Trade, following Schlagenheim (2019) and Cavalcade (2021). The English band plays experimental rock in which math rock, post-punk and avant-prog run together. The singles "Welcome to Hell", "Eat Men Eat" and "Sugar/Tzu" preceded the album. Hellfire reached number 22 on the UK albums chart, the band's highest placing at that point, and won a 2023 Libera Award for Best Heavy Record.
