Up in Smoke is the soundtrack album to the film of the same name by American comedy duo Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong, released in 1978. The film, directed by Lou Adler, was the duo's feature film debut and became a classic of stoner comedy. The album combines dialogue and comedy excerpts from the film with musical numbers, including the title track 'Up in Smoke' and 'Earache My Eye' by their alter ego Alice Bowie. Cheech & Chong scored several hit albums with their comedy records in the seventies and won a Grammy in 1974 for the album Los Cochinos.
