De Dijk's ninth studio album originally appeared in 1997 on Mercury. The recordings were made at Studio 150 in Amsterdam and mixed at Wisseloord Studios, with Antonie Broek and John Sonneveld at the controls. Laat het vanavond gebeuren reached number 23 in the Dutch Top 40; Heb je het hart had already come out as a stand-alone single in 1995 and only found its place on an album here. Voor een dag van morgen is an exception in the repertoire: its lyric is by the poet Hans Andreus, while all the others are by Huub van der Lubbe. This edition is an LP on yellow vinyl, a numbered anniversary edition.
