Scherp de zeis originally appeared in September 2011, the year De Dijk turned thirty, and entered the Dutch Album Top 100 at number one. It was the first album after the death of Solomon Burke, with whom the band had made Hold On Tight in 2010. Kan ik iets voor je doen?, the title track, Ik jou en jij mij, and De blues verlaat je nooit were released as singles. This edition is an LP.
