After a year off, De Dijk returned in 2000 with Zevende hemel, their tenth studio album. JB Meijers joined as guitarist and producer alongside Antonie Broek; recording took place at Studio De BovenToon and Studio 150, with mixing at Wisseloord Studios. Als het golft was the first single, followed by Waar is iedereen? and We beginnen pas. The title track and Was dat maar waar are restrained and bluesy, while Simpel and Recht door zee lean towards soul. This edition is an LP.
