More than six years after Brothers in Arms, Dire Straits returned with On Every Street, the band's sixth and final studio album. Mark Knopfler produced it himself at AIR Studios in London, with John Illsley, Alan Clark and Guy Fletcher joined by guests such as Paul Franklin on pedal steel, Vince Gill and drummer Jeff Porcaro. The album was originally released in 1991 on Vertigo and leaves more room for country and blues than its predecessor. Calling Elvis was the first single, followed by the satirical Heavy Fuel; the title track and You and Your Friend are on it too.

This edition is a 2-LP, half-speed mastered.
