A Dramatic Tour of Events – Select Board Mixes brings together live soundboard mixes from the world tour Dream Theater played in 2011 and 2012 behind A Dramatic Turn of Events. It was the first official live release with drummer Mike Mangini, compiled from shows in cities including London, Austin, Montreal, Tel Aviv and Tokyo. The selection runs from 'Under a Glass Moon' and 'The Great Debate' to the twenty-one-minute 'The Count of Tuscany', with LaBrie, Petrucci, Myung and Rudess. The recordings come straight from the mixing desk, giving the release a raw, immediate character.
