In July and December 1973 Elvis Presley recorded at the Stax studio in Memphis, a home of Southern soul. Those sessions produced songs such as 'Promised Land', 'If You Talk in Your Sleep' and 'Raised on Rock'. This compilation brings together the masters and a series of alternate takes from the recordings, and originally appeared in 2013. Alongside the familiar versions it includes studio takes marked with their take number, showing how the recordings came together.
