King Creole is the soundtrack to the 1958 film of the same name, in which Elvis Presley plays a young singer in New Orleans, directed by Michael Curtiz. Originally released in 1958, the album features the title track alongside 'Trouble', 'Crawfish' and 'Hard Headed Woman', with songs by writers including Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. The single 'Hard Headed Woman' reached number one in the United States in 1958.
