Fillmore East, June 1971 documents the Mothers line-up with Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan, the two ex-Turtles who handled the vocals and the theatrics under the name Flo & Eddie. The show revolves around a running, bawdy sketch about groupies and band members on tour, with 'Do You Like My New Car?' as its pivot and a version of their own 'Happy Together' as the finale. This expanded version adds vintage mixes from the archive, including the encore with John Lennon and Yoko Ono and the complete 'Billy The Mountain'. The original album appeared in 1971 on Bizarre and Reprise Records; archivist Joe Travers wrote new liner notes for this edition. This edition is a 3-LP.
