Plastic Beach is set on an island of washed-up plastic, and the theme runs through the whole album: the third Gorillaz studio album deals with waste, the sea and decay. Originally released in 2010, it brought together an unusually broad cast, with Snoop Dogg, Bobby Womack, Mos Def, Lou Reed, De La Soul, Mark E. Smith, Little Dragon and Mick Jones and Paul Simonon of The Clash, joined by strings and an Arabic orchestra. 'Stylo', 'Superfast Jellyfish' and 'On Melancholy Hill' became the best-known tracks. This edition is a 2-LP.
