On Los Ojos Del Cóndor, Hermanos Gutiérrez trade the desert landscapes of the American West for the Andes. The Swiss-Ecuadorian brothers Estevan and Alejandro Gutiérrez draw on this instrumental album from their mother's Ecuadorian roots and their Peruvian family history, with touches of Argentinian milonga and cumbia. Estevan plays everything on the nylon-string guitar his father gave him when he was eight, while Alejandro brings in the charango, an Andean string instrument, on several tracks. Opener "Canto Andino" starts with acoustic guitar and a drifting organ line, and the title track gallops along on lap steel. Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys produced the ten tracks at his Easy Eye Sound studio in Nashville, the third time the duo has worked with him. The album was released on 25 September 2026 on Easy Eye Sound.
