Laughter, originally released in 1980, was a studio album by Ian Dury & the Blockheads. After the departure of co-writer Chaz Jankel, the band sounded rougher and more angular, with former Dr. Feelgood guitarist Wilko Johnson in its ranks. Dury's characteristic talk-singing and wordplay remained the starting point in songs such as "Sueperman's Big Sister" and "Dance of the Crackpots".
