Get Born Rarities collects rare and additional material surrounding Get Born, the 2003 debut album by the Australian rock band Jet. Get Born broke through internationally with the single "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" and also featured tracks such as "Look What You've Done" and "Cold Hard Bitch". The Melbourne band based its sound on hard-hitting garage rock and influences from the 1960s and 1970s. This collection brings together demos, B-sides and alternative recordings from that period. In this way the record complements the successful debut.
