I Love Rock 'N Roll was Joan Jett's international breakthrough. The title track, a cover of a single by The Arrows, spent seven weeks at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and the album sold more than ten million copies worldwide. Crimson And Clover, originally by Tommy James And The Shondells, also reached the American top 10. Shortly before, Jett had set up her own label Blackheart Records with producer Kenny Laguna, after the established companies passed on her solo work. The album was originally released in 1981 through Boardwalk Records and has been remastered for its forty-fifth anniversary.

This edition is an LP on sky blue vinyl, a remastered anniversary edition on 180 gram.
