Alive was originally released in 2006, the year Kate Ryan represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest with Je t'Adore; that song is on the album. The Flemish singer built a European career on French-language covers and her own dance-pop, and both sides come together here. For its twentieth anniversary, Music On Vinyl issued an expanded edition with four French versions and three extended versions as bonus tracks.

This edition is a 2-LP on green translucent vinyl, a limited and numbered edition.
