Dynasty is the seventh studio album by KISS, originally released in 1979. Produced by Vini Poncia, the record shifted toward a polished, disco- and pop-tinged sound. The opening single "I Was Made for Lovin' You" became a worldwide hit and one of the band's most recognisable songs, with "Sure Know Something" as the second single. The album marked the start of a more commercial direction at the close of the seventies.
