MTV Unplugged captured the acoustic show Liam Gallagher played at Hull City Hall on 3 August 2019, with strings and horns from the Urban Soul Orchestra. The album originally appeared in June 2020, later than planned because the coronavirus pandemic pushed the release back. Its ten tracks mix solo material such as 'Wall Of Glass', 'Once' and 'Gone' with Oasis songs including 'Some Might Say', 'Cast No Shadow', 'Stand By Me' and 'Champagne Supernova'. It was the first album in the Unplugged series since Nirvana's to top the British albums chart, and Gallagher's third consecutive solo number one.

This edition is an LP on white & green splatter vinyl, an RSD pressing in a gatefold sleeve with poster.
