Significant Other is the second studio album by the American nu metal band Limp Bizkit, released in 1999. The album marked the commercial breakthrough of the band around singer Fred Durst and guitarist Wes Borland and entered the American Billboard 200 at number 1. The music combines metal, hip-hop and rock, a sound that helped define the nu metal wave of the late 1990s. Well-known tracks include Nookie, Break Stuff, Re-Arranged and N 2 Gether Now, which was recorded with rapper Method Man. Jonathan Davis of Korn and Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots also contributed to the album. It was produced by Terry Date together with the band.
