The Deep and Dreamless Sleep originally came out in September 2006 on Screaming Ferret Wreckords and is an album by the Boston metal band Meliah Rage, which debuted on Epic in 1988 with Kill to Survive. The lineup consisted largely of the classic members Anthony Nichols, Jim Koury, Jesse Johnson and Barry Spillberg, joined by singer Paul Souza. The album contains eight tracks and sounds darker and more varied in tempo than the band's early work. After its release, Meliah Rage toured the United States with Metal Church.
