Be Here Now was the third studio album by Oasis and originally appeared in August 1997, at the peak of Britpop. Oasis recorded it with producer Owen Morris at Abbey Road Studios, Ridge Farm, and other rooms, going for long songs, stacked guitar overdubs, and sheer volume: D'You Know What I Mean? runs almost eight minutes, All Around The World over nine. It entered the UK chart at number 1 and sold hundreds of thousands of copies there in its first week, after which the tone of the reviews turned and the excesses of the production took over the conversation. Alongside the singles it holds tracks such as Stand By Me, Don't Go Away, and Magic Pie. This edition is a 2-LP on silver vinyl, a remastered reissue in a limited run.
